Drawing from a diverse background, my journey from equestrian enthusiast and chef to IT professional uniquely equips me as a disability support worker.
My equestrian years instilled patience and gentleness, cultivated through a lifetime of horse ownership, and volunteering at Riding for the Disabled in the UK.
A culinary career in Perth and the UK added the ability to adapt, improvise, and multitask.
Transitioning to the IT industry equipped me with technical skills vital for navigating the world of AAC devices.
My experience as a special needs educational assistant, home educator, and mental health support worker further enriched my understanding of diverse needs.
Currently, I am an independent support worker and work as a mental health support worker, simultaneously pursuing a Cert IV in Community Service and Youth Work. This varied background, combined with a passion for making a positive impact, enables me to offer comprehensive and compassionate support as a disability support worker.
